2. **Assistance Program Participation:** If a member of the household participates in any of the following assistance programs:

– SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
– Medicaid
– Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
– Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
– Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
– Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
– Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits
– Lifeline (a federal program supporting affordable phone and internet services)
– Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year


3. **Assistance Program Participation on Qualifying Tribal Lands:** If a member of the household participates in any of the aforementioned assistance programs and resides on Qualifying Tribal lands, which includes:

– Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance
– Tribal TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
– Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations
– Tribal Head Start (income-based)
